AWARDS - SCORING SYSTEM

Scoring

"Gold" requires that you receive an average score of 95 - 100 points from the combined scores of the judges. This award will not be given out lightly. Only the "BEST of the BEST" will receive this recognition. Gold winners will have a screen shot and description of their site on winners page.

"Silver" requires that you receive an average of 84 - 94 points from the combined scores of all judges. This award is given to the excellent site that stands out against all others, but falls short of the point standards of Gold. Those awarded Silver, will have a brief description of their website on winners page.

"Bronze" requires that you receive an average of 73 - 83 points from the combined scores of all judges. This award is given to the site that shows good content and hard work, but may need that little something extra to raise it to Silver. Those awarded Bronze, will have a brief description of their website on winners page.

"Merit" requires that you receive an average of 62 - 72 points from the combined scores of all judges. This award is given to the site that the judges feel is worthy of recognition, but needs more work to raise it to the standard of Bronze. Those awarded Merit, will have their website name listed on winners page.
To receive the "Law Enforcement Officer Award", the webmaster must either be a Law Enforcement Officer, a former Law Enforcement Officer or have a site that is dedicated to the Law Enforcement profession. This award will be given out at the webmasters discretion.

Please understand that if you do not win an award or win a higher level of one of the awards, that we think you have a bad web site. It only means that in the opinion of the judges, there was something that just didn't fit into the criteria, point structure, or our own opinions. Everyone has different opinions as to what they like or don't like. Some other award evaluators may see things way differently then we do. We do not profess to be expert webmasters, but we do know what we like and want to see in a site.
