Life After Police

In 1983, I was one of three partners who started a private investigative agency called Knight Investigations.  I stayed with this agency until I was hired by the Kenosha Police Department in 1984.

At this time I decided to devote my career to police work and left the business.  My other partner was a police officer at this time, and decided to channel his energies into Knight Investigations and left the department.  The third partner was also a police officer, who decided to leave the business as well and continued his career with the police department.

The business name was changed from Knight Investigations to the current name of ESI ASSOCIATES. The current as well as founding partner still owns and operates ESI ASSOCIATES.

ESI ASSOCIATES is regarded as one of the finest investigative agencies in Southeast Wisconsin.  I am currently doing on call work with ESI as a state licensed Private Investigator.  We have 5 licensed investigators on staff at this time.

Most of my duties involve assisting criminal and civil defense attorneys with obtaining statements or evidence that might help their clients in court.  A good portion of my time is devoted to tracking people down and interviewing them to get their side of the story.

I guess you could say that I didn't fall too far from the fence; just that I fell over on the other side.  As a police officer I put people in jail.  Now as a PI, I look for ways to help reduce or eliminate their stay.

I also work with several insurance companies and assist them with acquiring background information on potential policy holders.   I conduct interviews with these clients who are looking at acquiring very large personal or business policies (minimum of $1,000,000.00).  Investigation of insurance claims that involve a contestable death or suspicious circumstances surrounding the death, are other cases that I may be involved with as well.

I love doing this type of work and look forward to the next case that I can add to my client list.  If your looking for that special case you need cracked, feel free to contact me at:
